New Energy Equity, President & CEO Matt Hankey Named 2021 Winners in BIG Awards for Business

Annapolis, MD—December 7, 2021— New Energy Equity (“New Energy”), a national developer and financier of community and commercial solar projects, announced today that the organization and its co-founder, President and CEO Matt Hankey were each awarded the Business Intelligence Group’s BIG Awards for Business and named 2021 Small Business of the Year and Small Business Executive of the Year. Launched in 2012, the BIG Awards for Business award program recognizes and rewards companies, products, and people throughout the world that are leading their respective industries. With this award, New Energy Equity and Matt Hankey stand alongside other leading companies such as past winners, AT&T, ADP, and UnitedHealthcare.
