New Energy Equity installed this 20kW Photovoltaic solar electric energy system in Red Wing, Minnesota to offset the electricity load of Hobgoblin Music. Born in England in 1976, Hobgoblin Music has become one of the premier suppliers of rare wind and percussion instruments worldwide. The Red Wing shop is their only US location.

The panels will produce roughly 23,600 kWh per year. Over 30 years the solar panel system will offset roughly 1,100,000 pounds of CO2, the equivalent of adding nearly 21 acres of trees to our forests. The system is highly flexible, allowing installs around HVAC units, so space is not wasted. New Energy Equity expects at least 30-40 years of useful life out of the system.
