Pape Community Solar Garden

New Energy Equity developed this 1,464 kW ground-mounted system, located in Renville, Minnesota. The system will produce enough electricity to power 479 average MN homes each year and offset over 754 metric tons of Carbon Dioxide.

Local businesses, municipalities, and school districts will be able to subscribe and claim a portion of the energy this garden produces through the Xcel Solar*Rewards Community program. These subscribers will be able to benefit from using renewable energy without constructing a solar project on their property. The program provides subscriber savings on their energy bills as well as socially conscious participation in renewable energy around the state.
