Do Good Diapers
Do Good Diapers
New Energy Equity (formerly Impact Power Solutions) installed this 24.8 kW solar array in Minneapolis, MN to offset the electricity load of the Do Good Diapers facility. The panels will produce roughly 27,543 kWh per year, enough to clean 736,000 diapers with the power of the sun. Over 30 years the solar panel system will offset 645 tons of CO2, the equivalent of adding over 717 acres of trees to our forests.
Do Good Diaper Service was started with one goal in mind – make cloth diapering EASY, AFFORDABLE and CONVENIENT for parents. All parents want to Do Good and they want to make it easy for them.
Do Good Diaper Service is locally owned and operated by Peter, Kathy, Elliot and Felix. They love what they do and like that they can help make other families lives a little bit greener.
As a part of our partnership with American Forests, NEE will assist in the planting of 24 trees, one for each kW of solar included in this project.
