New Energy Equity (previously Impact Power Solutions) installed this 1.3 MW solar array at the brand new headquarters of The Vomela Companies in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The panels will produce roughly 1,600,000 kWh per year, enough to power 131 average Minnesota homes. Over 30 years the solar panel system will offset nearly 36,000 tons of CO2, the equivalent of adding over 44,000 acres of trees to our forests.

At the ribbon-cutting event for Vomela’s new facility, St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter spoke about the positive impact that solar can have on the community. “This rooftop solar array is good news for our environment, it's good news for our children, it's good news for our lungs, and it's good news for our future, so we’re excited about that”
